    But still very enjoyable. Narrated by a very talented actor. I just wish he learned how to say « Lucien » properly.

    Not as good as the first one

    I just absolutely adored the reader, his way of portraying each different characters was priceless and added a lot to the experience. I think I would have "enjoyed" reading this book, but I "loved" listening to it.

    All in all it's a light-hearted story, with some more serious themes thrown in like grief, construction and expressions of queer identities in Britain, and discussions of hetero- and amatonormativity.

    An emotional, laughy read

    I enjoyed most of the book. But the characters in the last chapters are terribly annoying and their squabbles are ridiculous.
    *SPOILER*
    They've been dating for two years, and they realise just a few days before the wedding that they have their differences? They argue over the stupidest things and they give too much importance to what a marriage is supposed to be. Marriage mean what you want it to mean and your relationship with your parter doesn't change overnight because you got married. They agree they're madly in love with each other and they want to spend their life together but, they call off the wedding at the end of the last chapter because "Naah... doesn't feel right." ? It makes no sense and it's terribly disappointing for the reader.

    If you liked the first book, stop there, there's nothing more this book brings to the table.
    It's a compilation of story points we hardly care about, issues the first book already covered and absolutely zero character development. Useless sequel
