This book did not disappoint me. Adrian Newey is one of the icons of Formula One and I got to learn a huge amount about his journey in the sport, the many lows and all the highs of his career so far. It also made me want to watch footage on YouTube of the F1 eras he mentions. He built so many F1 cars that won championships and having him explaining all the technical elements of such process while the sport kept on evolving with new rules was fascinating.

I am definitely looking forward to what he will bring to Aston Martin in 2026 with the whole set of new regulations for that season.

My highlight of the book was of course his journey at Williams Racing Team in the 90s. My heart dropped especially when he told his side of the horrific story with the passing of Ayrton Senna in Imola in 1994 when he was racing for Williams.
