Hidden Truths by Neva Altaj is an absolute gem! The story is a perfect mix of suspense, romance, and mystery, and the narrator does a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't stop listening. If you're looking for an engaging and thrilling audiobook, this is definitely the one to pick up!!!❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I like a bit of cheese, but this one was too cheesy for me. started of good, but as soon as they have sex the author sort of abandons the main plot lines only to squeeze it back in near the end. the sexy parts became quite repetitive and unimaginative in this one. probably also due to repetitive word choices (crashes his mouth to mine, to the hilt, her "core"). could've done with some different synonyms or phrases. Also, the mexican cartel lord and the mexican nana had russian accents? poor job by the voice actors. main bad guy came across quite cheesy due to the voice acting. Quite a poor attempt at representing PTSD as well. Very stereotypical without much nuance. Wouldn't recommend binging this series. author uses a lot of the same words and phrases. It becomes hard to distinguish each couple without much focus on the plotlines.
