Her melodious voice and sincere delivery are well suited for this splendid coming-of-age audiobook. Protagonist Annie and her roller derby team, the Liberty Belles, are chalking up wins. For Halloween, they’re set to smoke their rivals, the High Rollers, but Annie injures her ankle. Meanwhile, Tyler seems to be losing interest in her, but Jesse’s there to provide comfort and friendship. Will she heal in time for the big match? And will she regain Tyler’s undivided attention?
