    L’histoire est haletante, on a du mal à s’arrêter! Les personnages ont un peu de profondeur par rapport à la moyenne de ce genre de littérature, Une fois de plus, un homme avec une farandole de red flags qu’on adore, et une narration très très chouette puisque peu importe le POV, quand un personnage annexe parle, sa voix sera celle de son genre!
    Niveau spice, 5,5🌶️/5, attention certaines scènes peuvent choquer, ce n’est pas du tout une gentille romance.

    Very nice performance from both readers. The story is very interesting and spooky. I really loved it. Can’t wait to listen to the second book!

    I loved it !! I already got the chills when I read it on paper but listening to it for my re read hit so different ! I totally recommend getting it

    Lots of hype around the spice in this book, and there is a ton and it is well narrated, no complaints there.

    That being said, the amount of TWs needed is insane and as an adult no matter how much you want to appreciate the fun and entertaining element of it all, it’s still difficult to be okay with it.

    Even if you are willing to put all that aside and simply view the book as entertaining fiction, it’s uncomfortable.
    What I found most disturbing is the contrast between chapters. He is supposedly some hacker/pedophile killer, you go through so many elements of him being disgusted by predators and him saving young kids, and yet suddenly you’re supposed to be turned on 5 pages later when there are spicy scenes?
    They aren’t plots that you really want to put together.

    The book isn't as twisted and awful as what people (on booktok) said, which is a good thing! I was so scared, but I wanted to form my own opinion, so I read it, and I really enjoyed it. The different plots and the story were amazing! The relationship was definitely kind of weird, and it is unconventional, but this is a book of fiction for adults. And as readers, we have access to all the thoughts of Adeline, and I think we can understand her mindset pretty easily. Anyway, amazing!

    For the performance the female reader is okay, the male one is absolutely terrible the way he forces every word to make it sexy and fake a deep voice is NOT it, I would not feel safe next to this man.
    Now for the book this is honestly garbage. I rarely give a bad review because someone else might like what I don't but this feels both written by a twelve year old on wattpad and by an inmate and death row for 46 accounts of rape and murder. What was going on in the writer's mind??? This isn't dark romance, these characters need psychiatric help.
    I kept giving the story more time to develop and become good or at least to not suck so bad but now I'm just mad I waisted my time.

    Honnêtement je m'attendais à plus. Je pense pas que ce livre soit fait pour moi. À mon avis, c'est un romance basé sur un syndrome de Stockholm très malsain.
