October 2001. Nearly a month after the September 11th terrorist attacks, Mr. Ramneek Singh is working away at his gas station near Yuba City, California. While leaving his shop one night, he is brutally beaten as a form of retaliation for the terrorist attacks. Or so it seems. The American Dream has been rewarding to the turban-wearing immigrant until now. The only thing Mr. Singh doesn't realize is that hate has bred in Sutter County long before him.
