Mrs. Claus has left. Not during an argument. Not during Christmas. Not even with an explanation. She simply left, and for the first time in centuries, Santa Claus found himself alone.
The workshop at the North Pole still runs. The lists still have to be made. But none of it prepares him for modern dating, which quickly reveals itself to be strange, weird, and at times, completely chaotic.
Now Santa is out in the world trying to understand how love became more complicated than delivering toys to millions of strangers in a single night. Everyone seems to want something. Attention. Money. Reassurance.
With Rudolph quietly observing everything, Santa begins to realize that starting over is not magical. It is awkward. It is frustrating. And sometimes, it is far more unpredictable than anything he has faced before.
Goodbye, Mrs. Claus is a story about what happens when the person who gave his life to everyone else is finally forced to figure out how to live for himself.
