Description

Murder and mystery on the Jersey Shore from the national best-selling author of Inspector Specter....

Never meet your heroes - especially when they're dead....

Guesthouse owner, single mother, and reluctant ghost whisperer Alison Kerby is about to sit down to movie night with her family and friends when she's struck speechless. Floating before her is the ghost of her musical idol, 1960s English rock star Vance McTiernan. He's in desperate need of help from Alison and her resident ghostly gumshoe, Paul Harrison.

Reports claim that four months ago, Vance's daughter died from a drug overdose. Vance, however, thinks she was murdered. While Alison agrees to help, Paul is suspicious of Vance's motives. But after the body of the alleged killer is found in the movie room, Alison and Paul must act quickly before someone else finds a stairway to heaven....

Love this series!

I've listened to all these books and they are just fun! I wish I could find more just like it. And the narrator, Amanda Ronconi, is fantastic. I actually found this series by searching for books she narrated. Can't wait for the next one! You'll love it if you try it.

Awesome listen

Where does Ghost in the Wind rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It ranks as one of my favorites

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ghost in the Wind?

I liked when all the ghost got together with John Lennon

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I couldn't think of one, but a series of movies would be awesome

Any additional comments?

I just love this series, and always looking forward to the next one to come out, and I love Amanda Ronconi's performance.

Fun series

I love this series. The characters are fun and this one has a scene with musicians that is unreal. To have really been a part of that scene would have been awesome.

Amanda Ronconi gives an amazing performance

Never meet your heroes. Alison meets hers, in ghost form. Lead singer/songwriter of the British band, The Jingles has come to her for help. How can she say no? Why would she even want to? Their music got her through adolescence.

Paul is decidedly not a fan. Finding out who killed Vance's daughter may see the man dead twice, at Alison's hand once it becomes clear Vance hasn't said anything truthful since she met him. She has experience with faithless swine. There's no putting a story past Alison.

But she stays on the case, even when he'd throw her off it. A woman was murdered and she deserves justice.

I missed this one when I was catching up, but it turns out it didn't matter. It's a great addition to the cozy mystery series, and I love these. Same atmosphere book to book. You know exactly what you're getting when you pick one up. Made for great road trip listening. Amanda Ronconi is amazing, as always. She's the perfect voice for this series.

Ghost in the Wind, (Book 7)

I gave this four stars because at times it became monotonous. However, it did give me food for thought. Allison meets her hero Vance McTiernan, who is very dead (naturally,) and quickly becomes disillusioned with him because he's not the person she has put on a pedestal all these years. Made me think about who is my hero and would I like to meet have him or her. I don't think so. We're all human and I don't think I'd like to be disappointed, after all, we need something to dream about...
