The author signs up as a volunteer at a car show months in advance and as the event draws near, he almost cancels. At the show, the author parks next to this amazing mustang with a beautiful tribute to a fallen soldier. He then goes to his volunteer station and meets the owner of that car: Charles. From there, the story is told of the fallen soldier who was Charles’ son who took his life after serving as a scout in Afghanistan.
