This historical fiction story is filled with rich lore, beautiful world building, themes such as war, betrayal, love etc. The first book is only the beginning, it only sets up the larger narrative, I'd like to think that the best is yet to come. The characters are really interesting and memorable.

If you're a fan of epic fantasy and are looking for one with an Indian setting, I'd highly recommend this gem!
