Great book
I love this book but it is listed as book 2 when its actually book 1 in the series.
Margo was super annoying and frustrating in the beginning. She literally had me fussing out loud at her. I could understand her independent mindset but she was overly nosey while at the same time acting like her business was private. She was deliberately difficult for someone who's life was in danger. Glad that she finally came to her senses. Brenda Jackson has a way of writing that keeps you totally engrossed in the story and Ron Butler is an awesome narrator.

Best yet
I loved the way it brought the Grangers into the mix.
Storyline was great. It keeps you engaged. The sex scene were hot

Awesome
This book checked off many elements one would want. Good storyline, characters, continuously pique my curiosity as to what was going to happen next. It was also a little hot at times. ALL GOOD!!!

Action, romance, love - who could ask for more?
I think this is the best book so far that I’ve read by Brenda Jackson! It had a great story line and I didn’t know the answer until the end. I loved Grainger & Westmoreland series but I think the Protectors are the best. The more you read the better the backstory is revealed.

Wow factor all the way!

It was okay
It was okay. It wasn't a page turnner, but towards the end it looked like Striker was kinda cheating with another woman, now you have t9 read the next book to find out.
