Two best friends from high school, Mark and Jesse, are ready for graduation. During their senior year, Mark develops romantic feelings for Jesse, but held them in check throughout the 12 years that follow because Jesse is married to Annika, his high school sweetheart. They have a daughter and another child on the way.
However, after finding out he has an inoperable brain tumor, Mark decides to tell Jesse how he feels, which is only one of several truths they’ve hidden from each other. Plus, they’re fearful of Jesse’s wife, who has grown suspicious of their close friendship. So, Mark plans a revealing weekend getaway with Jesse in a remote cabin in the woods.
