On sort différent de ce livre.
Parmi tous les livres audio que vous avez pu écouter, à quel rang placeriez-vous Far from the Tree ?
Andrew Solomon écrit une somme, jamais ennuyeuse, sur les différentes identités dont on ne parle habituellement pas : surdité, nanisme, trisomie, autisme, handicap physique sévère, schizophrénie etc. du point de vue de la relation parents-enfants. Il place l'amour et les expériences personnelles au coeur de son livre, sans jamais laisser de côté les chiffres et une analyse minutieuse. Un chef d'oeuvre, remarqué à juste titre dans de nombreux pays, mais toujours pas traduit en français...
Avec quel autre livre pouvez-vous comparer Far from the Tree ? Expliquez pourquoi.
Je ne peux le comparer à aucun autre livre, tant celui-ci a fait de moi un individu différent, et j'espère meilleur.

L'auteur lit lui-même son livre, sa voix est parfaite, c'est du très bon travail.
Avez-vous pu avoir une réaction excessive concernant ce livre ? Est-ce qu'il vous a fait rire ou pleurer ?
Je ne parlerais pas de réaction excessive, mais je confirme avoir été bouleversé en de nombreuses occasions.

Great book, irritating narrator
Interesting read, I learnt a lot.
Let down by the lector, the author himself. He sounds like a dying Mock-Turtle. Monotonous, nasal voice, truly irritating.
