Very mechanical reading.

Great book and I truly enjoyed it. However it felt like a machine was reading it. It would have been more enjoyable if there were some emotions

If your not a manager, you won't like this book

This book is basically a business book to inspire managers. It is not a good story unto itself. It name drops way more than it should. It was a struggle to even get half way through. This book is going to have a very limited appeal outside or managers.

Disney U is a well narrated well written account of how Disney has developed its workforce of "cast members" over several decades to maintain the Disney show as the "Happiest Place on Earth".

Good after first section

Any additional comments?

I found the beginning fable or mock story really annoying and uninteresting but after that the book picked up and had some good info in it. This hs soe good info on employee onboardng systems and some really interesting insight on company expansion and how to handle growth.

Found several things in here we will be implementing.

"Walk the park" will be at the top of the list.

Great story in building a culture

There are the reflection sections at the end of each chapter to help the readers see the practicality of the stories.

The narrator's voice can make you feel a little sleepy.

Gets you thinking

This audiobook outlined several different methodologies and concepts that connect with the way we should do business but don't. The person listening should reflect deeply upon how their training structure is aligned and how you can connected directly to the emotion feelings and outcomes of people. The reader is not glamorous but the information is spot on.
