Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion is one of the last works completed by David Hume, a man who revolutionized our understanding of philosophy. Hume was an advocate of the skeptical school of philosophy and a key figure in the Scottish Enlightenment. In this work, he examines the philosophical arguments about the existence and nature of God. Hume shows his versatility by expressing valid arguments which assert the existence of the Divine from different points of view. He explores the argument of design, the argument of first causes, and that of the presence of suffering in the world.
