    Description

Alice Clayton, the New York Times best-selling author of Wallbanger and The Unidentified Redhead, brings the sexy and the funny back with this dangerously rich and sinfully decadent dollop of Cream.

Manhattan's It Girl, Natalie Grayson, has it all. She's a hot exec at a leading advertising firm, known industrywide for her challenging and edgy campaigns. She's got a large circle of friends and a family that loves her dearly, and her dance card is nearly always full with handsome eligible bachelors. What else could a modern gal-about-town wish for? The answer, of course, is...cheese.

Natalie's favorite part of each week is spending Saturday morning at the Union Square Farmer's Market, where she indulges her love of all things triple cream. Her favorite booth to visit also happens to indulge her love of all things handsome. Oscar Mendoza, owner of the Bailey Falls Creamery and purveyor of the finest artisanal cheeses the Hudson Valley has to offer, is tall, dark, mysterious, and a bit oblivious. Or so she thinks. But that doesn't stop Natalie from fantasizing about the size of his milk can....

Romance is churning, passion is burning, and something incredible is rising to the top. Cream.

    ✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫

This was a fun audiobook. Alice Clayton always writes great Rom Com and always lifts my mood. Natalie was hilarious, and I'll be honest I loved that she was plus size and worked it perfectly! She was sassy and sexy which was exactly what a man of few words and lots of grunts needs. Oscar was upfront and in her face about what he wanted even if he said practically nothing most of the time. I loved that about these two, they fit perfectly. Love the small town too! Can't wait to get more of these characters and the other town characters in the next book.

Olivia Song narrated all but the epilogue and she was perfectly cast for Natalie. Deacon Lee was fine for the epilogue but he was really slow, I had to speed up that chapter.

    About cheese, not cheesey

I really liked this second installment. It unfolded at a good pace, offered a good amount of character development. This book is about Natalie a woman from NYC and a dairy farmer who we met in book one. To be fair, we briefly met Natalie as well. I especially liked the background story of Natalie. Clayton did a fine job of illuminating her strengths and weaknesses making her strong, flawed as we all are, but strong. Oscar, her love interest, had his moments when I wanted to scream at him for being shortsighted., but hey it is a romance novel. Loved the curse-can shaking comic relief.

Most of the book is narrated by Olivia Song (all but 9 minutes) and she does a great job. Deacon Lee did the Epilogue. Song should have got top billing here. Lee gets a pass. In the book, Clayton sets up the next friend ideally to be bitten by Bailey Falls. Can't wait to read it. I give it a thumbs -- big.

    Sexy and adorable

Oscar and Natalie are on fire! It was so nice to enter Bailey Falls again and not only fall in love with Oscar and Natalie, but to check back in with Leo and Roxy! I'm eagerly awaiting Clara's story!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Crazy for this book

Just as good as it counter part Nuts this book is funny and sexy, but what I truly love about it is that the main character is not a size 2 Barbie doll but a sexy full figure sexy size 18 woman who is not ashamed of her curve and gets the very hot sexy man.. 💋

    Amazing

Absolutely Amazing, Alice does it again. It's full of LOL moments but best of all it just feels real...I'm not sure how else to explain her writing. Narrator did a great job too.

    Yay for Hot Farmers!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    It's definitely worth the credit!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Natalie! She owns her body and her life and I love her confidence. Also, there was really no ridiculous girly overreactions.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I always laugh out loud at Alice Clayton books!

    Any additional comments?

Great story as usual...can't wait for the next one!

Can I give it more stars?

I'm going to review the second book first.
The story, the setting, everything me feel like I was
    there.
I loved the first one, but this one was incredible.
If you're a true romantic, DO NOT LISTEN TO
    THE NAYSAYERS.
You will fall in love with Oscar.

    Glad Natalie Got Her HEA

What disappointed you about Cream of the Crop?

Narration was two dimensional. A couple of story arcs were underdeveloped or truncated.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Predictable. Would have liked to have seen the hero of the story take some lead on finding a HEA

Would you be willing to try another one of Deacon Lee and Olivia Song ’s performances?

Deacon Lee, yes. His role in this production was so small that I can't know how his narration of a full length book would be. Oliva Song I would listen to again, but not where she carries more than one or two characters, and definitely not a romance.

What character would you cut from Cream of the Crop?

Thomas-he was not necessary. And Missy - that part of the story was so disjointed that I am just not sure what the point of her was.

    Any additional comments?

I loved the first audiobook of this series and I will likely listen to the third installment. This second one is probably better to do in print

    Not good

I absolutely loved The Redhead Series. While recently on a sunny vacay I thought I would try this Author again. I enjoyed Nuts, the 1st in the 3 part series but I could not wait for this one to end. I never could connect with any of the characters and the Narrator did not help. The language and sex scenes were just too raunchy also. I don’t think I can read book 3.
