Teenage twin brothers, identical in appearance, dramatically different in spirit. The Wallace brothers are both bright students and pace setters on the track, but that is where their commonalities end. One, a charming basketball all-star with an affinity for social settings. The other, a quiet all-star pitcher who would rather read comics than engage others. Despite these differences in interest, the brothers are inseparable. That is, until a meteor shower and a nearly fatal fall drive them in different directions.
They must find their place in a new school, in a new state, amongst newfound friends. While one twin experiences supernatural changes, the other tackles strange disappearances, sudden reappearances, and people with inhuman abilities begin taking creative license with the boys' reality. Unbeknownst to the Wallace brothers, these are portents of what lies ahead.
What begins as a search for missing classmates spirals into a world where secrets, daring escapes, and alien encounters abound. The Wallace brothers attempt to navigate this coming-of-age adventure and confront extraterrestrial forces, as they build revised connections: friendship, family, and their role in the universe.
