À propos de ce contenu audio

Palmer Lane’s grandmother has been telling her scary stories for as long as she can remember. Like any child with a Mexican American grandmother, Palmer is well versed in stories like La Llorona, The Chupacabra, and of course The Coco Man. Yet Palmer never expected that the bedtime stories she grew up with might actually be true, or that her real life would be even scarier.

Palmer, a huge horror movie buff, has been haunted by the chilling ghost of a mystery woman for years. She’s a freshman in college and head over heels in love with her comical, snarky high school sweetheart Calum Murphy. Or at least, that’s the last thing she remembers.

Palmer wakes up in the hospital with amnesia after being found in an abandoned cabin in the woods of her hometown in Southwestern Colorado. The doctors tell her that she’s now 31 years old and Palmer quickly realizes that she can’t remember the last 12 years of her life.

The only part of her life that is still consistent is the horrifying female specter that still haunts her. Palmer learns that she’s happily married to her devoted husband Hartman Roth, an oral surgeon. Even so, she can’t wrap her mind around no longer being with Calum. But as Palmer’s memories start to return she begins to unravel all of the mysteries that plague her.

Palmer soon finds out that her childhood ghost isn’t the only thing to be afraid of in the dark. And maybe all of her grandmother’s stories weren’t just stories after all.
