Thompson has previously worked on screen adaptations of Austen’s novels, including writing the screenplay of Sense and Sensibility, for which she won an Academy Award for the Best Adapted Screenplay. The film is still considered one of the all-time best screen adaptations of a Jane Austen novel and inspired the resurgence of Austen adaptations. Isabella Inchbald is a newcomer in comparison but very well versed in voice work, winning the prestigious BBC Carleton Hobbs Award 2017, and is perfect for our heroine, Emma Woodhouse.

Description
Introducing his autobiography, A Life in Parts, Bryan Cranston talks to us about embodying the infamous drug kingpin Walter White, the physical and emotional turmoil that comes with being an actor and how a difficult and oftentimes violent upbringing led him to become an unrelenting optimist.
Having first graced our screens at the age of seven, Bryan now has over 150 titles to his name, including Linwood Boomer’s hugely celebrated sitcom Malcom in the Middle and Vince Gilligan’s multiaward-winning Breaking Bad.
A fan of short stories, Brian presents A Life in Parts through a series of brief chapters which take the listener through a chronological journey of his life. Also an excellent guide for prospective actors, Brian imparts advice to those who are looking to make their mark in Hollywood.

Inspires me to listen to Cranston’s Memoir!
This interview gave insight to Cranston’s thoughts about the importance of reading and audiobooks, gave some thoughts about Breaking Bad, as well as touched on his Memoir which I’m now very interested in listening to on Audible as it was not only written by Cranston but also narrated by him as well! I am glad I listened to this interview.

Interesting Quick Listen
This was a great interview with Bryan Cranston. I loved the show "Breaking Bad." However, I was probably like a lot of people who had to remove themselves from it as it was too real at points especially the death of one of the actors by overdose. I have had many family members and friends who have passed away and this part became too real for me. Bryan addresses this scene in this interview and it really made me feel better about the scene because of his reaction to it. It was a very real scene to make and everyone had a hard time with producing it. It's interesting to hear about him and his family and his acting career as well as his book. After this interview I would love to listen to his book.

very short
This is a very short interview. I can't say I thought much of the interviewer, but fortunately Brian Cranston could carry anyone. I enjoyed his memoir and his narration. Bryan Cranston is insightful, modest, and an overall class act.
