Nantucket, Massachusetts: Nine-year-old Scotty Sullivan dashes out the back door of his family's beach home, his dog, Larry, bounding beside him.
They reach the shore, barks and joyful laughter swallowed by the crashing waves. Suddenly, an odd-looking object in the sky draws closer.
