Way too abridged
Felt like it was missing something. I read the hard copy of boundaries in marriage and thought it was dead on accurate. With two small boys, thought this would be a good listen. I was mistaken. To truly absorb any lessons, I need applicable examples, repetition, and a good story line. This was like listening to a couple of college lectures.

I needed this! I didn't learn hardly any of this growing up.
The authors gave me principles... and also examples to help me visualize these abstract ideas in everyday life. Very good teaching!

If you're expecting a recorded version of the book, it's not even close. A real disappointment and waste of a credit.

Taking some of the frustration out of parenting
I appreciate the fact that the outcome of successful boundaries is discussed. This book points out the reasons to stand firm and an idea of which battles to pick all for the sake of your child's development. It focuses on how to help your child grow in healthy emotional and moral ways.

I wish I'd read this book years ago!
This is hands-down the best book I've ever read read on parenting. I wish I'd read it years ago. Thank you to the authors for their wonderful work here.

excellent resource, but too short.
great book that adds specifics to parenting from the original boundaries book. IMO, this book could be expanded with more examples, and points made more applicable. helps you recognize patterns in your own parenting that lead to problems in the future.

Prayers for misfit children
Would have liked more active examples of dealing with teens and adult children.
It is good to read for all ages of children, but need more depth and examples of dealing with tantrums and adult tantrums. My Step kids are nightmares and at 36 and 37 nothing works. Prayer seems to be the only answer. I also need more to act on.
