On the fence here....

This 6 chapter, 5 hour book is a very long smex scene... inside a board room between the two main characters (Savanna and Matthew) and Matthew's four business partners... Seriously!

I mean, it started out sooo good... I really liked Savanna and Matt's dynamics... their sexual conflict as both were powerful business tycoons. Their board meetings was like mental smex, as Savanna describes it.

Matthew plans this crazy smex scene of dom and submission in the board room for Savanna, which was going pretty good, until the other four men arrive. I was like WTF?

The story kinda got long, drawn out and boring after that. I actually skipped like 3 chapters just to get to the end to see what was going to happen between Savanna and Matt.

Then the end felt a little rushed... but, the whole story was erotic fantasy, so I knew there wasn't a grand story line here...but...still... eh!

I would recommend this for one of those purely erotic itching moments...(us romance reader/listeners get...)

Because the book is so cheap, I would just buy or sale... Save your credit for something more expensive with at least a plot line.

The Narration, however, was pretty darn good... I wish VonCloudts would narrate some paranormal romance... :)

Well it's different...

I have to admit this one has some new ideas. I can also agree that it's got some pretty hot scenes. I just don't know if I'd want to use a credit on this one. A sale would be a better deal. In my reviews I don't think it's necessary to tell about the story. I'm sure you have read the summary. I do tell if I "get into" a story and if I enjoy it. I enjoyed the sexual situation somewhat in this book but it didn't really come through emotionally. The books I love are emotionally and sexually charged. Sadly this one didn't make it for me.

Original story

Joey W. Hill blew me away with the storyline of Board Resulation. The narration was very effective in this sometimes uncomfortable sensual tale.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Joey W Hill is one of my favorite authors so I was delighted to learn that her books were coming out in audio. I would recommend any Joey book to erotic romance readers who enjoy reading story lines with BDSM themes.

This particular book is the start of one of Joey's very popular series, Knights of the Boardroom. It tells the story of Savannah, the CEO of a manufacturing company and Matt (and his leadership team), her business partner and CEO of Kensington Industries. Matt is determined to get Savannah to accept that he is the one for her and he uses all the talents and skills his team has available to press the point home one very eventful night.

What about G.C. VonCloudts’s performance did you like?

G.C VonCloudts did a wonderful job. Her interpretation helped me reinterpret some scenes that had bothered me when I first read the book. I will be more inclined to buy an audio book if she is the narrator for it.

couldn't finish, gang rape victim to willing lover

Gang rape scene seems to be 70% of the book. I kept hitting next chapter until it was over and then the VICTIM apologizes for being "catty" when they finally ungagged her and removed the bindings.

There really was no story here... Too much sex not much of a storyline OR even character development.

Loved it!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Very exciting to listen to. The narration was excellent. I felt every emotion conveyed in the story and was portrayed with expert delivery.

Disturbing

This is an interesting story. I bought it many years ago, the whole series in fact and did not think much more about it. But upon re-listening to it now, Hearing what Matt does to Savannah (or has done to her by his key staff members) kind of makes me sick. The Non-consensual nature of what he engineers with his staff to force physical stimulation and wring unwanted pleasure from her body is terrifying for anyone who is triggered by such nonconsensual activities. Beyond that however, it is well written and with excellent narration. (in my opinion)
