Disneyland is an American icon, the pinnacle of magic and joy, the crown jewel of the American family vacation. Blue Vomit, Bare Bums, and a Bit of Magic hilariously weaves the story of one family as they try desperately on three different Disneyland vacations to create that one magical “the kids will remember this forever”-style vacation, but are greeted each time by epic failures.
Whether it is eating vomit, dealing with terrible hotels, or defecating in public, they just cannot buy a break no matter how hard they try. Through their countless misadventures, they learn valuable lessons and are ultimately able to find moments of joy in trying, but never achieving, the perfect Disneyland vacation.
