First appearing in 1933, Blinky Bill has become a classic character in Australian children's literature, and the Blinky Bill books have never gone out of print. With enthusiastic pleasure, this headstrong and mischievous little koala sets out on a series of bold adventures testing not only his mother's patience, but also that of all the bush creatures he encounters. His shenanigans at Miss Pym's shop and Farmer Smifkins's veggie patch show him to be a very naughty koala indeed! Blinky Bill is the first book featuring the naughty koala.

"[Wall] created a children's literary icon that is still hugely popular some three-quarters of a century later... helping, if somewhat belatedly, to give Wall her rightful place as one of our greatest children's authors and illustrators." (Julian Lewis, The Daily Telegraph)
