Torn between searching for clues and making repairs, Bishop takes a chance and recruits allies, while the colonial fleet hunts for his base of operations.
Repairing the colony ship is his only hope of escape, but Bishop discovers he is up against more than just pirates. The government itself has a stake in current events, forcing Bishop to take on the military, as well as the impending alien threat. With few friends and less time, Bishop must fight for his life in order to save himself and the last remnants of humanity.
