When Mattie and Trevor finally get together for their long-anticipated first date, their lives are instantly turned upside down. A series of unexplainable events begin to happen just moments into lunch and never seem to end. Neither of them have a clue of the incredible trials and experiences that are soon to dominate their lives. Suddenly Mattie begins having visions of historical events appearing on strange particles of light. Unbeknownst to her, Mattie was born into a family of time travelers that has produced a single inheritor from each generation since the beginning of time. She becomes heir to secret powers beyond her wildest imagination, but without the knowledge she needs to survive. Mattie is accidentally swept eight years into her past with no comprehension of what has happened or how to return. She must return within 24 hours or be stuck in the nightmare of living in a time loop forever. As Mattie's time grows precariously short Trevor uncovers a dangerous, unproven solution that could possibly bring her back before it's too late! The countdown begins and the adventures never end.
