A wonderful story told in a wonderful way.
I have all 3 versions of Barefoot Pilgrimage - hardcover, Kindle, and Audible, and Audible is my favorite! I love hearing the story told by Andrea in her own voice. it makes it come alive and more intimate, as if she's talking just to you. I love the stream of consciousness style it has, which makes the audible version the best fit. Although I'm familiar with a fair bit of what she writes about, hearing the sadness and loss of a brother she never got to know, five miscarriages and nearly dying in childbirth, makes you want to reach out, hug her, and tell her she is loved. She knows that, and that she is very blessed in many ways. The warmth, kindness, and compassion she possesses shine through brightly in hearing her tell her tale. thank you for sharing your story with us, Andrea!

Brilliant narration, a joy to listen to!
Wow, I was not expecting to love this as much as I did. A beautiful string of stories about sorrow, love, and gratitude. Andrea is funny, insightful and moving. Her reading is especially wonderful - her accents, voices and emotions made the stories come alive. I’m so glad I decided to listen to the audiobook.

Like nothing I have ever read
As a huge fan of the Corrs music, getting this book was a must. I then saw Andrea did a audio book version which was also intriguing. I wanted to read the book but I also wanted to hear the story from her. I tried something new to me and combined the two. The words jumped off the paper and came to life. Andrea made me laugh...she even made me cry. What a story of love. I always loved the music but now as I just finished the book am in awe of the person she is. So glad she did this. And the proudest I have ever been as a fan.

Absolutely Stunning
Heartbreaking, Heartwarming and absolutely stunning performance from Andrea Corr.
