Great Book!

I don't write many reviews but had to commend the author on a great story about a couple already married. Sean Crisden added so much feeling with his narration. If you've already read the book, you will enjoy the audio version even more.

Worth the credit! Just buy it. Marriage through the eyes of a husband. Loved the performance as well.

Hilarious

Real! I could totally relate to this story and I thoroughly enjoyed it, Ridley could have been a little more understanding.

So much wrong, but 1 thing right

This story didnt do it for me but Sean Crisden narrated this story amazingly. Had i read this book a know I wouldn't have finished it but Sean Crisden made it bearable. They way he reads the words, the sound of his voice made it listenable.
The wife is juvenile, the youngest son is portrayed to over the top and the husband works to much and is an a*s about most things in the world.
I spent most of the book annoyed with the wife. As a married, stay at home mom I understand her frustrations ( when she finally voices them) but that was my whole problem, she needs to communicate with her husband not her friend or other men.
So the overall point about communication, working on things and forgiveness are nice but the way everything is gone about is to much. All the supporting characters are bad ppl, the oldest son seems very realistic and he adds to the story, the youngest son seems like the author wrote him for wow factor and the wife is juvenile and doesnt really seem to grow.

Funny, romantic and deep!

I loved this book, cries like a baby at some point but spent most of the time just laughing.

Cute Story, BUT....

I tried! I really did... got about 3 1/2 hours in.

But it was just repetitive and annoying by that point.

I always like Sean Crisden, but even he couldn't keep me interested.

Gut Busting Funny !

Found myself laughing so hard !! Definitely an insight into the male brain as it is written from the male perspective. The writer has an amazing sense of humor and they storyline was touching and kept me listening. The Narrator is very talented and does multiple characters very well. Will listen to more by this Author for sure !! :-)

Loved this point of view

The whole story was from the male POV and I loved him telling his crass , raunchy, unedited truths. It felt authentic and honest. I laughed out loud several times and got teary more than once. Even in the end his reactions to his so called wronged and justifications...which I didnt agree with..I rooted for them. Sean Crisden is becoming one of my favorite narrators. He can hit a raw sexy vibration that is just wow...he also seems to rush lines at random times. This is definitely worth the time.
