I love Jae's writing, it's always warm and sweet. I loved Regina's evolution. It's always the most interesting in Ice queens : what make they love someone even if they are hard to love for the common eye, and it's perfectly executed. I have listened to some of Lori Prince's narration and they were mostly good, but this time it was like she was trying too hard to distinguish two different characters making the narration sometimes unnatural. Like the first chapters, she had a tendency to shout for side characters making me play with my volume button. Some of the scenes between Ellie and Regina's sensual scenes sounded a bit too porny and I don't know if it was the writer's intention.

I think it's one of my favorite Jae's book. The usual really good slow burn but this one got extra steam. Lori Prince does a wonderful job with both Regina and Elie's voice. I will definitely listen to it again.
