Only for Americans...
After 2+ hours of listening I failed to relate.
This book - as almost every other book I've ever listened from Audible- refers primarily
to an American audience; the difference is that I could relate to almost every other book than this...
The advice it gives is based on the socioeconomic, educational, taxation, governmental, political
and military systems of the USA. I guess its good advice, I wish something like this was written for
my country but if you are not a US resident I suggest you spent your time and money to something else.

Mix of great advice and terrible advice
Overall, not a bad book. Some areas were great, specifically the section on education.
Of Clarey’s good advice:
1) make sure you are majoring in a profession, not a hobby. If you can get your degree without a lab, you’re probably majoring in a hobby. I wish I heard this advice when I was studying.
2) do not confuse wealth with riches. You can have great cars, but if you can’t afford them, you’re not wealthy.
3) pick up mechanical skills while you’re young and you’ll save thousands over your lifetime.
Among Clarey’s bad advice:
1) use suicide as a means of reducing medical bills during old age.
2) do not marry a career-minded woman because she will be a bad mother.
3) do not work at an office with women because they will attack you for sexual harassment for no reason.
Overall, he’s got some good advice about how to make yourself a valuable person, how to make and save money, and how to avoid some difficulties in life.
However, I recommend skipping the section on women. Clarey comes off as a frustrated, hateful individual who views relationships only in terms of economics. His view on women in the workplace is faulty, as you will dislike your workplace is you irrationally fear the women you are working with.
I recommend this book, but understand that interpersonal relationships with the opposite sex do not need to be so scary. Learn to appreciate the women you work with and you’ll enjoy your work more.

Excellent description of the problems in our culture
Excellent description of the problems in our culture and how to deal with them. I read some of the negative comments and they would be the kind of indoctrinated night ‘nice guy’ feminist that this book is warning you about. This is the kind of info I needed 20 years ago. Read this book. Avoid the misery. And be a better you.

Awesome book from Start to finish!
This book has great advice for men of all ages. I highly recommend you buy it! Check out Aaron's YouTube channel : aaron clarey, very entertaining and full of gold. I've been a big fan for years. Keep up the great work Aaron.

worth reading<br />
very practical advice and no B.S. approach. some of it a little too dark and nihilistic for my taste, but most of the content is valuable and good for people to know and hear.

Inconsistent rant at best
Really don't bother. If he can't be bothered to write a book instead of record a rant, don't spend your time sifting through this pig pen trying to find a couple pearls of wisdom.

Wish I had this as a young man.
The narrator does an outstanding job but the audio quality feels a bit lacking but the value in this book is worth it its weight in gold 10x. Every young man (and I would recommend it older men as well) should have a copy of this book

One of the author’s best, in my opinion
Clarey is very concise and to the point, which suits me well.
Wish I had read this 40 years ago.
Strongly suggest it for men of all ages in particular the 20 - 30 year olds.
Recommending to my son , to be sure.

So etwas sollten sich junge Männer anhören
Man erfährt hier nützliche Tipps von Aaron Clarey. Wer seinen Youtube-Channel kennt, weiß über die direkte Art des Autors bescheid. Nicht überall kann und muss man als Europäer zustimmen, so verschulden sich bei uns ja im Gegensatz zur USA nur wenige für das Studium. Manche Ansichten wirken etwas zu radikal aber es lohnt sich allemal anzuhören. Alleine der Tipp sich als junger Mann kein zu teures Auto zu kaufen um anzugeben bzw Frauen zu beeindrucken wird vielen Burschen sehr viel Geld sparen. Das gesprochene Englisch war für mich großteils gut verständlich.
