Are little people living in those caves? How can it be?
This novella is a fantasy, though the setting and historical anecdotes are more factual than not. In Babbling Brook Society, an old-timer reminds us that our future is linked with the past.
A handful of Polar Caves Park staffers learn how climate change, pollution, and friendship influence hidden societies of tiny, ancient residents. Our relationship with the world and biodiversity go hand in hand with good manners and friendship. The Earth is our home and how we treat it has far-reaching impact.
The author, Karen Walczyk Prescott, is originally from central New York and has masters degrees in Environmental Management and English Education. Her passion for the sustainability of our natural world, technology, and science are evident in Babbling Brook Society, her first short novel.
