A Broken Cup: Notes from a Fellow Struggler "I may be broken, but I'm still useful. When I dropped my favorite coffee cup, it shattered into pieces. Ready to toss it away, I paused, grabbed a Sharpie, and scrawled across the bottom, 'I'm broken but still useful.' I understand that, because I've been broken too." In this honest memoir, Curt recounts his journey through depression- the bouts, battles, and the long road back. With warmth, transparency, and the faith-filled storytelling his readers love, A Broken Cup offers hope to anyone who has felt broken, weary, or alone. These are the two most overarching themes of A Broken Cup: You're not alone. You'll get through this. A Broken Cup is a book of encouragement: *For those walking through depression or anxiety. *For caretakers and loved ones trying to understand the depths of depression. *For fellow strugglers seeking encouragement, faith, and resilience. Each chapter is a stand-alone and easy to read on the hard days, yet woven together as a testimony that brokenness does not erase worth. In the end, A Broken Cup is not about despair; it is about perseverance, courage, and the usefulness of broken things and people. Curt Iles is the author of eighteen books celebrating Louisiana's culture, people, and natural beauty. A native of Dry Creek, Louisiana, Curt and his wife DeDe live in Alexandria, Louisiana.
