Dimension X presents “No Contact,” episode 4, originally broadcast on NBC on April 29, 1950. This sustaining-program adventure was an original radio story by George Lefferts and Ernest Kinoy, with Luis van Rooten, Donald Buka, and Cameron Prud’Homme.

In 1987, the rocket Star Cloud becomes the sixth expedition bound for distant Volta, following five ships that vanished near an unseen region of deep space known as the Galactic Barrier. Captain Thorson and navigator Lieutenant Collier face unsettling radiation readings, strained communications, and growing uncertainty as they approach the mysterious obstacle.

Old Time Sci-Fi Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
