The 2 Johnnies made the trip up from Tipperary this week for a long overdue bit of craic with the lads. They didn’t arrive in brown boots, so we were off to a promising start.
There’s no shortage of mad stories, from recording a podcast in their jocks in a roasting car to a guitar smash that left one Johnny finishing the show and the other heading to hospital with part of his finger hanging off. We also found out why their local grave digger is harder to book than Garth Brooks, and why an egg throwing champion is a dangerous man to stand in front of.
Amongst all the carry on, there’s also a very personal story about Johnny Smacks’ son, the hospital staff who looked after him, and how the pair turned their gratitude into something special.
