Your name, your age, where you are from. Numbers, days, months and the seasons as Brazilians actually live them. From there it opens out. The two verbs that everything depends on, taken apart form by form. The present, the past and the future. Articles, adjectives, diminutives and augmentatives. Question words, and the dialogues that put them to work: meeting someone new, shopping for clothes, ordering in a restaurant and splitting the bill. And running through all of it, the country itself. Street food and beach drinks, holidays and traditions, the animals, the music and the places worth travelling to.
