Recorded live at the SAP Product Expert Training in St. Leon-Rot, Germany, this episode brings candid partner insights straight from the event floor — no slides, no script, just real talk about what makes SAP Cloud ERP implementations succeed or fail.

Fernanda Rodrigues sits down with Henrik Voss, Lead Consultant and Finance Team Lead at Cpro Industry Projects & Solutions GmbH, and Robert Nickl, Project Manager and Solution Architect at the same firm. Together, they share the top lessons learned from mid-market manufacturing implementations of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

The conversation gets right to the point: cloud ERP is a change project, not an IT project — and more than half of a successful implementation comes down to the customer and how the project is managed. Henrik and Robert also unpack why overloading Phase 1 scope is one of the most common mistakes partners see, why data migration needs to start far earlier than most teams plan for, and why clean, consolidated data is the non-negotiable foundation before any AI initiative can deliver real value. The episode closes with a refreshingly honest take on what it means to be a consultant in a world where SAP is always two steps ahead.
