What if we’ve been missing the power of the Holy Spirit? In this transformative and powerful episode of Revelations Podcast, Reagan welcomes back Laurel Bunker, a sought after Speaker and Teacher and Vice President of Pulse Ministries, for an honest, challenging, and faith-filled conversation about the person, presence, and power of the Holy Spirit—and why every believer needs to understand who He is and how He works in our lives today. Why have so many Christians become uncomfortable with the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit? Together, Reagan and Laurel explore how the Enlightenment Era influenced the Church’s understanding of faith, reason, and spiritual power, and why we must be careful not to let intellectual understanding replace a living, active relationship with God.Laurel unpacks the biblical foundation of the Trinity and explains how the Holy Spirit teaches, comforts, convicts, transforms, and empowers us to live in obedience to Jesus. She also shares why spiritual discernment matters, how to test what we hear and believe against Scripture, and why Christians must be willing to repent, pursue holiness, and partner with the Holy Spirit rather than rely on their own strength.Reagan shares a personal story of encountering God through prayer and healing, while Laurel challenges believers to stop living as spectators and begin walking in the spiritual gifts God has given them. From healing and discernment to boldness in sharing the Gospel, this conversation is a call to deeper faith, greater spiritual hunger, and renewed expectation for what God can do.In this episode, you’ll discover:Who the Holy Spirit is and what it means to understand Him as the third person of the TrinityWhy the Holy Spirit is essential to living out our faithHow the Enlightenment shaped the Church’s relationship with reason and spiritual powerWhat it means to grieve the Holy Spirit and how repentance leads us toward transformationHow to test the spirits and practice biblical discernmentWhy spiritual maturity requires both the work of the Holy Spirit and our willingness to obeyHow the Holy Spirit develops holiness, renews our minds, and produces spiritual fruitWhy Christians should expect God to work through spiritual gifts, including healing, discernment, and prophecyHow to grow in your understanding of the Holy Spirit through prayer, Scripture, and Christian communityA challenge for every believer: Are you open to the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s work in your life? Laurel encourages listeners to study the names and work of the Holy Spirit, ask God to reveal areas of unbelief, and approach Him with humility, hunger, and expectation. It’s time to move beyond simply knowing about God and become disciples who live with the presence, power, and wonder of the Holy Spirit.Listen now, and be encouraged to live with renewed faith, spiritual discernment, and expectation for what God can do.Become Part of Our Mission!
