This week on Movie of the Week, we’ve got three completely different films: I Am Legend, I, Robot, and The Fugitive. From Will Smith facing isolation, AI and the end of the world, to Harrison Ford being hunted across Chicago in one of the great ’90s thrillers, there’s a lot to get into here.
We’ll talk about why I Am Legend is really a movie about loneliness, why I, Robot feels far more relevant now than it did in 2004, and why The Fugitive still works despite some gloriously dated dialogue. Plus, plenty of behind-the-scenes trivia, Oscars, performances and the little details that made these movies worth revisiting.
Three very different stories, plenty of comedy, tension and nostalgia, and three films that absolutely deserve a spot on your watchlist.
