From Romulus to the fall of the West… this is Imperium.

Rome did not begin as an empire. It began with refugees, shepherds, kings, and legends that shaped one of history's greatest civilizations.

Imperium is a cinematic retelling of Roman history built directly from the ancient historians themselves. Drawing from Livy, Dionysius of Halicarnassus, Plutarch, Virgil, and other classical sources, each episode transforms the surviving texts into an immersive narrative while remaining faithful to what the Romans recorded about their own past.

This is not historical fiction. It is Rome's story, told through the voices that preserved it.

Seasons are released in bingeable volumes, allowing listeners to experience each era of Roman history as a complete narrative—from the fall of Troy and the founding of Rome to the birth of the Republic, the rise of the Empire, and ultimately, the fall of the West.

    Every empire has an origin.

Before the Republic. Before Caesar. Before the legions conquered the known world, there was only a handful of survivors fleeing a burning city, a prophecy carried across the sea, and a destiny that would change history forever.

Season One of Imperium follows Rome's legendary beginnings—from the fall of Troy and the journey of Aeneas, through the rise of Alba Longa, the birth of Romulus and Remus, the founding of Rome, the reign of its kings, and the events that would ultimately give birth to the Roman Republic.

Drawing from the works of Virgil, Livy, Dionysius of Halicarnassus, Plutarch, and other ancient historians, these stories are retold as modern cinematic narratives while remaining faithful to the traditions preserved by Rome itself.

This is where the story begins.
