Season One of Imperium follows Rome's legendary beginnings—from the fall of Troy and the journey of Aeneas, through the rise of Alba Longa, the birth of Romulus and Remus, the founding of Rome, the reign of its kings, and the events that would ultimately give birth to the Roman Republic.
Drawing from the works of Virgil, Livy, Dionysius of Halicarnassus, Plutarch, and other ancient historians, these stories are retold as modern cinematic narratives while remaining faithful to the traditions preserved by Rome itself.
This is where the story begins.
