Are you exhausted from trying to be perfect in an age of performance, absolute control, and endless efficiency? Welcome to Point Zero, a space where we will discover that your greatest advantage is exactly knowing how to stumble.

Based on the book by Brazilian professor and researcher Ricardo Lima de Mello, this podcast is a radical invitation to disarm. Through the ancient wisdom of the clown and the "technology of the stumble," we will explore how failure, vulnerability, and laughter work as survival tools against the tyranny of perfection and the digital algorithm.

Here you will learn that the machine was programmed to avoid mistakes at all costs, but we were born to play with them. We invite you to take off your mask of efficiency and find the freedom to be magnificently imperfect.

The world is full of people desperately trying not to fall. In Point Zero, we invite you to be the person who knows how to fall, who laughs at the tumble, and who gets up lighter.

Hit play, take a deep breath, and remember: the ridiculous is not the end. It is the beginning.

  • Point Zero | The Courage to Be Ridiculous in the Age of Perfection
    Jul 7 2026

Welcome to the very first episode of Point Zero! In this premiere, we present a complete overview of the book Point Zero: The Courage to Be Ridiculous in the Age of Perfection, written by Brazilian professor and researcher Ricardo Lima de Mello.

We live in the "age of performance," surrounded by digital avatars and algorithms that demand absolute control and infallibility. But what if our greatest strength is exactly our ability to stumble?.

In this episode, we dive deep into the "technology of the stumble". We explore how humanity has always needed the sacred laugh to survive, and why, in the 21st century, Artificial Intelligence has become the ultimate "Whiteface"—the perfect, relentless machine. To counter this, we must embrace our inner "Auguste": the chaotic, vulnerable, and beautifully imperfect side of ourselves.

Drawing from the author's real-life experience as the hospital clown "Dr. Mozzarella Parmesan", this summary will show you why the machine processes information, but the clown processes affection. You will learn that the mistake (or the digital bug) is not a failure, but the raw material for poetry.

Hit play, leave your certainties at the door, and get ready to fail beautifully.

Remember: The ridiculous is not the end. It is the beginning.

  • Point Zero | Chapter 01: The Sacred Laugh
    Jul 8 2026

Have you ever wondered why every culture in human history needed to invent an "agent of chaos" to withstand the rigidity of life?

In this episode of Point Zero, we travel back in time to explore Chapter 1: The Sacred Laugh. We leave the colorful circus tent behind to discover that the clown is not merely children's entertainment, but an ancestral spiritual technology of survival.

Join us on a journey from prehistoric bonfires—where the first human stumble broke the tension of the tribe—to the Lakota Heyoka and the Egyptian dwarf god Bes. We will explore the Trickster archetype, the poetry of silence with the Mimes, and discover why the Court Jester was the only person allowed to tell the truth to the King without losing his head.

We also dive into the profound meaning of the Joker in the deck of cards—the only card without a fixed value or suit—and how the medieval "Feast of Fools" and the modern Carnival act as a psychological safety valve. Without this collective moment of "letting go" where logic is suspended, the internal pressure of our society would be completely unsustainable.

Hit play and discover why, if even the ancient gods needed to laugh at themselves, who are we to carry the weight of the world without the courage to be, occasionally, absolutely ridiculous?

  • Point Zero | Chapter 02: The Smallest Mask
    Jul 9 2026

Do you think making people laugh is just a natural gift bestowed upon a few funny chosen ones? In reality, the stumble is an exact science and a powerful technology of human connection.

In this second episode of Point Zero, we dive into Chapter 2: The Technology of the Stumble. We will discover what the "Point Zero" (or the Fertile Void) really is, and how the art of enduring the void teaches us to be radically present.

Join us as we explore Carl Jung's concept of the Shadow and why the red nose is considered the "smallest mask in the world". It is the only mask that, instead of hiding who we are, reveals our flaws and vulnerabilities with pride. We will also meet the classic circus duo that lives inside our own minds: the eternal struggle between the "Whiteface" (the voice of authority, order, and the system) and the "Auguste" (chaos, instinct, and our inner child).

Hit play and learn why accepting your mistakes, sharing your failure with the audience, and playing with the golden rule of improvisation (the "Yes, and...") can be your most magnetic tool.
