Luna recalls a winter night years ago when she investigated a strange melody drifting from the attic of an old boarding house on Chestnut Street. The tenant, Mrs. Harlow, claimed the music box played by itself. Luna found the box, engraved with the name Elara, and learned from the landlady that a girl named Elara had died in that room seventy years ago.
