Two seagulls meet by accident on the north coast of France near a ferry port — one a young English bird, Sydney, and the other a wise and experienced French bird, Marvin.
Sydney has lived a rather lonely life in England and is unsure where he truly belongs. Marvin takes him under his wing, introducing him to a new world of friendship, adventure, and discovery.
