Summer 1987. A fourteen-year-old boy named Caleb Foster keeps waking up with salt-crusted sand in his bed—fine-grained, bitter, unlike anything along Salt Creek. His mother blames open windows. His father blames the gravel lot behind the gas station. But Caleb knows he's been walking. Every night, he finds his sneakers caked with dried mud from the creek bank, and once, a Polaroid in his own handwriting that reads '3:17 AM—he was watching from the bridge.' The town of Eunice, Nebraska, population 412, has a story no one tells: about the man who tends the sandbars at night, who fills the shoes of sleepwalkers with salt grit and leaves a single wet footprint on the floor. Luna pieces together Caleb's journal entries, his desperate attempts to lock himself in his room, and the night his father sat up with a shotgun and saw nothing—but heard the scrape of a hand on the window screen just before dawn. The episode ends with Luna holding a jar of sand from Caleb's pillowcase, years later, still warm to the touch. #SaltCreek #HorrorPodcast #FexingoHorror #Sandman #Sleepwalking #Nebraska #Eunice #CalebFoster #SaltGrit #BridgeWatcher #Summer1987 #SmallTownHorror #NightTerrors #TheSandBars #WindowScrape #Polaroid #Journal #Unsettling Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
