À propos de ce contenu audio
There was a time when major Mexican touring acts were coming into the Zoo for a fraction of what other national tours were charging.
A typical Zoo show might cost 150 grand.
Some of these acts came in for 35.
Full night. Headliner status. Big crowd.
And they brought everything.
Production. Sound. Lights. Crew. Backline. No house package needed. No outside techs touching their gear. Trucks roll in. They unload. They set it. They line check. They play. They tear it down. Gone.
Fast.
Efficient.
Relentless.
And the sound? Solid.
Some of that gear looked like it had seen 2,000 shows. Probably had. These bands were grinding 200 dates a year. Equipment riding in pickups, trailers, station wagons. If it fell off, they picked it up and kept using it.
No drama. No excess. No excuses.
Just work.
They undersold themselves for years. Packed crowds. Long caravans of acts. Family audiences. And some of the most disciplined crews in the business.
You want to see who really knows how to tour?
Watch the Mexican acts load in and load out.
