Good morning. Utah. I'm Aaron Jolly. Spring is technically just 13 days away, but looking at the state right now, you might think we fast-forwarded straight to May. Along the Wasatch Front, you're stepping out into sunshine and 49 degrees. It feels like a normal early March day, maybe a bit tame. But don't let that fool you. Tonight's air settles at a cool 33 degrees. That's when you'll notice the chill returning. By tomorrow, we crank up the thermostat. You're hitting 58 degrees—a full 23 degrees-degree jump that makes Sunday feel like a different season. A light north breeze keeps you honest today, shifting to a gentle southeastern flow tomorrow. If you're heading south, the red rock country is absolutely baking. St. George hits 67 today, then surges toward 73 tomorrow. Overnight lows stay mild in the upper 30s to low 40s. If you ask me, this is perfect weather for an evening hike near Zion without needing three layers. Up in the high country, winter is holding its ground. Mountain highs only reach 41 today, with overnight lows plunging to 25. It's cold enough for a dusting of snow if any moisture sneaks in, though things look dry for now. Winds stay light, so travel over the passes should be headache-free. This warming trend is here to stay. By Monday, the Wasatch Front could touch 65, while Southern Utah pushes toward 77. A weak cold front knocks temps back Tuesday, especially up north, but we bounce back fast. By next weekend. Southern Utah might even flirt with 86 degrees. That's the kind of heat that usually requires a pool membership. You might want to dig out those shorts this afternoon. See you tomorrow. See you this afternoon.
