Good morning. Wyoming. I'm Aaron Jolly. That dusting of snow yesterday? Already feeling like a distant memory. Step outside this morning and you'll notice something different. The air has actual warmth to it. We're running a solid 10 to 15 degrees above normal for early March. In the next 24 hours. Southeast Wyoming leads the charge today. Cheyenne and Laramie climb to 58 degrees under sunny skies. That southwest breeze around 10 miles an hour makes it feel pleasant by afternoon. Central Wyoming is right behind. Casper hits 57 degrees, but hold onto your hat — gusts reach 35 miles an hour this afternoon. Out west, the Tetons and Jackson stay cooler. Highs near 49 degrees with increasing clouds late. That's your first hint that changes are coming. Tonight, the full moon lights up mostly clear skies across the east. Lows dip to 31 in the southeast, 38 central. But out west. Snow arrives after 11 P.M. That's when the next system takes aim at Wyoming. Thursday starts mild — near 60 degrees in the southeast. Then rain and snow push in after 11 A.M. By Thursday night, everyone sees snow. Southeast Wyoming could pick up 1 to 3 inches. Central areas see 2 to 4 inches with gusty north winds. Friday is the main event. Snow continues statewide. Highs only reach 30 degrees in the southeast. That's a 28-degree drop from today. Winds gust to 40 miles an hour, creating blowing snow concerns. The weekend brings redemption. Sunshine returns Saturday. Highs rebound to the 40s and 50s by Sunday. Monday? Back near 60 degrees. Spring equinox sits just two weeks away. Tonight's full moon is a reminder — winter still has some fight left. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
