 Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Step outside and you might do a double-take at the calendar. We're looking at temperatures 46 degrees above normal for late February. The Bay Area climbs to 73 degrees today under mostly sunny skies. Light offshore flow keeps things pleasant through the afternoon. Tonight brings patchy clouds and a mild low of 57 degrees. In the next 24 hours. Head inland to the Central Valley and it's even warmer. Patchy fog lingers until about 10 A.M., especially around Bakersfield and Fresno. Then the sun breaks through. Highs push toward 75 degrees this afternoon. Tonight's low holds at 56 degrees. Your weekend looks fantastic. Saturday brings another warm day with the Bay Area at 69 degrees and the Valley reaching 76. Sunday cools slightly as clouds increase. A slight chance of rain arrives Sunday night into Monday, mainly for the Sierra Nevada. We stay well above normal through Saturday. A brief cooling trend arrives early next week. Highs settle into the low to mid 60s by Wednesday. That's actually right where we should be for this time of year. We're gaining over two minutes of daylight each day now.
