We're watching a high pressure ridge flex right now, and by next week, some of you'll see temperatures 44 degrees above normal. Let that sink in. Let's take a little tour. Down in Greater Los Angeles, you bottomed out near 46 degrees around 44 degrees A.M. By 44 degrees P.M. today you hit 75 degrees. Tonight stays cozy, lows around 51 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Sunday? You're pushing 79 degrees. That's beach weather in February. Slide south to San Diego. You started milder, lows near 49 degrees around 44 degrees A.M. Today topped out at 71 degrees by 44 degrees P.M. Tonight dips to 51 degrees. Sunday brings 74 degrees. Perfect for the boardwalk, though the Pacific is still ice bath cold. Now head inland. The Inland Empire had the chilliest morning at 44 degrees around 44 degrees A.M. But by 44 degrees P.M.? 75 degrees. Tonight drops to 48 degrees under clear skies. Sunday hits 80 degrees. Eighty. In February. Your thermometer isn't broken. Quick note. Air quality sits at moderate today. If you're sensitive, maybe save that intense outdoor workout for early morning. Sunrise landed at 6:32 A.M., sunset at 5:43 P.M. We're gaining over two minutes of daylight every single day now. Here's your heads up for the week ahead. Sunday and Monday keep climbing. LA pushes toward 79 degrees, Inland Empire hits 80. Tuesday and Wednesday bring a slight coastal cooldown, but inland stays toasty in the low 80s. Then Thursday and Friday? Peak warmth. The Inland Empire could touch 85 degrees. The coast flirts with the low 80s. Slather on sunscreen because this sun means business. One more thing.
