Sam Clements is curating a fictional film festival. He'll accept almost anything, but the movie must not be longer than 90 minutes. This is the 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast.

In episode 158 Sam is joined by filmmaker Julia Jackman, director of Bonus Track. Her new movie, 100 Nights of Hero, starring Emma Corrin, Maika Monroe, Nicholas Galitzine and Charli XCX is in UK cinemas from 6 Feb 2026.

Julia has chosen Tomboy (82 mins). Directed by Céline Sciamma and released in 2011, the French drama stars Zoé Héran, Malonn Lévana, Sophie Cattani, Mathieu Demy, and Jeanne Disson.

Sam and Julia discuss finding Isabel Greenberg's graphic novel to adapt for 100 Nights of Hero, discovering Céline Sciamma's work, and pay tribute to the Chaba Theatre in Jasper.
